Help with Realplayer

The video and audio offerings on our website play in streaming realplayer.

If these files do not play right away, please check the following:

1. Make sure you have the realplayer program on your computer. You can do this by searching on "realplayer." If you do not already have the program, it can be downloaded for free HERE.

2. If you have realplayer installed, but find that the files do not play automatically, it may be that the streaming file, which ends in ".ram", is in your browser-designated download folder. For example, the file for playing the Peace Pilgrim documentary is called: "PeacePilgram.ram". If you find the ram file in your download folder, first double-click on it, and the screen should open and play the realmedia video. If you only get a text message, the next step would be to open your realplayer program, go to File, then Open File, and open the ram file through the realplayer program.

3. In some cases, such as in certain government offices and organizations, computers are set to refuse streaming video and audio connections. If this is the case, then you may have to play our offerings on a computer at a different location, such as in libraries or home computer systems.

4. Our music and videos are set to play at a fairly high level of quality, therefore dial-up or other low bandwidth internet connections may have some problems with playing our files smoothly. Again, computers at libraries and other high bandwidth locations should be able to play these files fine.
