EPILOGUE

DURING THE NEXT FEW YEARS, I lost much of my enthusiasm for work and spirituality. I went through the motions of life, but not with the inspiration I had known when everything I did was in service to my beloved. Anyone watching from outside would have thought I was very ambitious and motivated. After all, I was editing and associate producing the top two children's shows in the world, "Power Rangers," and "X-MEN." I was raking in big bucks and working hard, often seven days a week.

It may seem strange to thank God for an illness, but even if it had been fatal, I would have gone with gratitude in my heart. Due to this trauma, I was forced for the first time in my life to stop, and to remember.

Then, while sitting quietly one day, through the deep inner stillness echoed a clear and welcome holy command, fulfilling the promise of my spiritual teachers as this benediction came now from within myself, in my own powerful voice. "First, you have to share what you have learned."

With the same dedication and inspiration I had known when asked to perform a service to my beloved, I sat down, and began to write....
