Secrets of Spiritual Happiness

Preliminary notes to the reader

Regarding Quotes:

In Secrets of Spiritual Happiness I have included a variety of relevant quotes from many sources and traditions to help unfold this vast and grand topic.   In lieu of limiting these accomplished beings to just a several-word description of who they are and what they've done in their lives, I've chosen to simply give their names.   If you are curious to find out more about a particular source, you can "google" them (search for their name on an internet search engine) to find more substantial biographies there.

Regarding Personal Relevance:

In this book, I share many personal stories and lessons.   Please be aware that your life lessons may differ from mine, and that we're often growing into and through different lessons at different times. Therefore, if any of my interpretations of particular events don't ring true for you at this time in your life, then please trust your own inner guide above anything that you read - in this book or anywhere.

Regarding God:

"God" is one of many words that can be used to describe the great magnificence that is both known and unknown. In this book, I use the term "God" in its general sense, and not as described by any one religion or tradition.   If the word "God" doesn't accurately represent your personal image and relationship, then please feel free to replace this word with any He, She, It, form, or formlessness that works for you.
